Local youth group learns about hunger through 30-hour famine program

Elk Creek Baptist Church’s youth group recently participated in  World Vision 30-hour famine Feb. 25-26 in Mount Vernon.  The youth went without food for 30 hours so others could eat. They experienced hunger while raising funds to help hungry children and their families.
