National champion dairy judging team tours Europe, participates in the Scottish Highland Contest

The Spencer County FFA Dairy Judging team, Austin Jaggers, Susan Mann, Tevin Shouse, and Joseph Snider, the  2011 National FFA Champions, traveled to Edinburgh, Scotland  on June 20, and participated in the 2012 Scottish Highland International contest.

In addition to the dairy judging competition,  the team members were also able to tour and visit  historic sites in Scotland, London, France,  and Germany.  Highlights of the tour included the site of the 2012 Olympics, Edinburgh castle,  Stratford Upon Avon, Bath, York, Stonehenge,  the London Eye, the Tower of London, Big Ben,  Buckingham Palace,  the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower,  Austwick Castle,   Buchenwald Concentration Camp, Nuremberg, and Heidelberg, among many others.
