Taylorsville Pools owners Jim and Jean Kannapel celebrated the opening of their new business April 8, with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The store hopes to service the swimming pool needs of the community and surrounding areas. The store sells name brand products for pool maintenance, in addition to above- and in-ground pools. Pool services, such as opening and closing pools, regular cleanings and leak detections are also available by skilled and knowledgeable sources. The store will conduct water testing and provide a report with needs for maintenance. A grand opening is planned for April 24.

Store hours are: Sunday noon-4 p.m.; Tuesday-Friday 11 a.m.-7 p.m.; and Saturday 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. It will be closed on Mondays.
