Norma Jean Pope Downs, 75

Norma Jean Pope Downs, 75, of Louisville, died Monday, Jan. 16, 2012, at Signature Health Care of East Louisville.
A Spencer County native, she was the daughter of the late William Thomas and Frances Louise Spencer Pope.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Pope, and her sisters, Bessie Louise Grundy and Betty Irvine.
Survivors include her husband, James Downs;  her daughter, Tyandra Sanders Baker, of Louisville; her brother, Roy Pope, of Taylorsville; and her sister, Edna Thompson, of Louisville.
