PHOTO: Blue Moon Salon opens in Elk Creek

Blue Moon Salon, owned by Faith Wood, center, hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony recently. Blue Moon is located at 4809 Taylorsville Road in Elk Creek, behind Spencer County Physical Therapy and next to Dirty Dawgs. Wood and stylists Kim Knasel and Crystal Whitehouse, also pictured, offer haircuts, color, highlights, lowlights, perms and waxing. The salon is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, call 477-8810.
