PHOTO: Bowman named SCHS August student of the month

The Student Council at Spencer County High School would like to congratulate sophomore Sarah Bowman on being chosen as the August Student of the Month.
Sarah was nominated by Ms. Kathy Fickel, Special Education teacher.
Her nomination read, “I strongly nominate Sarah Bowman. There are several students with special needs who face challenges in being successful in their general education classes. Sarah is not a peer tutor. She provides natural support to these students who are enrolled in the class with her. She is a great role model for acceptance and respect.”
