PHOTO: Lady Bears named district runner-up

The Spencer County High School Lady Bears soccer team was named runner-up in the 30th district. The Lady Bears defeated Collins 2-1 last Monday, but fell to Anderson County in the championship. The team moved onto the 8th Region tournament and defeated Owen County 7-0 and was scheduled to face South Oldham in the second round on Tuesday after press time.
