PHOTO: Library makes building improvements

This year the Spencer County Public Library created an additional parking area off of Mill Street. The gravel lot adds approximately 24 parking spaces. A new library entrance is now open on the north side of the library that allows patron access to the library and the Meeting Room from the new parking area. Pictured is Dawson Barr, the first patron to use the new entrance. Library hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, call 477-8137.
