PHOTO: POW/MIA Ceremony

VFW Post 11426 and the Ladies Auxiliary held a POW/MIA Ceremony at the Wall of Honor in Taylorsville September 19 to honor those still missing-in-action.  Representative Brad Montell (at left) spoke about how these soldiers should never be forgotten. County Judge David Jenkins read a proclamation declared by President Bush that “this day be declared National POW/MIA Day.” Magistrates Hobert Judd and Bill Drury also spoke on the importance of never forgetting what our soldiers in the past and today are doing to keep our country free.
