PHOTO: SCMS dance team named grand champs at state fair

The Spencer County Middle School dance team danced at the Kentucky State Fair on Aug. 25. The team won first place in hip-hop as well as Grand Champion of the junior division. Team members are (in no particular order): Ilona Kovacs, Allie Thomas, Lindsey Miller, Meredith Barnett, Cayla Perkins, Lindsey Bush, Hallie Helton, Rikki Urquhart, Kassidy Pulliam, Cate Jarboe, Beth Hill, Molly Marlow, Kaylee Smith, Hannah Quiroa, Jena Ellis, Mckenzie Potts, Lilly Mitchel, Morgan Forkey, Lydia Rowe, Allison Dunbar, Ali Henderson and Peyton Forberger.
