PHOTO: Tipton earns state baseball honors

Hunter Tipton, of Elk Creek, was named Honorable Mention All State by the Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association. He also received the following honors for his senior season at Louisville DeSales: All 6th Region, All 6th Region Tournament, All 22nd  
District, All “A” Classic All Tournament, 6th Region All Star, iHigh Top 100 (#32). This summer, Tipton is playing for the Louisville Baseball Club. He will continue playing past high school as he moves on to Bryan College in Dayton, Tenn., for the 2013 season.
