PHOTOS: Taking the time to care

The Taylorsville Elementary after-school tutoring program was started in September by Spencer County Middle School student Marissa Allen. Allen, who is pictured in the bottom right photo, formulated the project as part of her participation in the 2012 Harvard University Leadership Academy.  Every Wednesday, eight middle school and six high school students gather at TES after school to offer participating third-fifth grade students homework help and assistance in all subject areas.
