First Assembly of God Church in Taylorsville hosted its ‘We Love Taylorsville’ summer event on Saturday. The event featured free clothing, free dental screenings, music, games and a lot of free groceries. ‘This is our 13th event of “We Love Taylorsville”,’ Pastor Chad Goodlett said. ‘We’ve been in the neighborhoods doing whatever we can for our community. It’s not a fundraiser; we’re not asking for anything. We just want to serve Taylorsville. We just want to love people the way Jesus did.
