Taylorsville Police Chief Toby Lewis recommended last Tuesday that the city not sign a memorandum of understanding with the Spencer County Sheriff’s Office and Spencer County EMS to obtain the agencies’ analog radio frequencies.
“I don’t see that we need to sign the current MOU the mayor has received at this point,” Lewis told the City Commission at a special meeting.
Lewis said that the agencies can communicate without it.
