The Honorable Judge Linda Armstrong presided over the following cases in District Court on November 21, 2008.

Traffic:

Michael Allen Cooper. Charge #1, no operator’s/moped license. Charge #2, possess open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle. Pled guilty to both charges. $85 fines plus $143 court costs.

Raquel Gutierrez. Charge #1, failure to use child restraint device in motor vehicle. Pled guilty. $50 fine plus $143 court costs. Charge #2, operating on suspended/revoked operator’s license. Pled guilty. $50 fine. Charge #3, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security, first offense. Pled guilty. $500 fine, $400 conditionally discharged with twelve months insurance monitoring.

Mary L. Hawkins. Speeding 26 mph over the limit or greater. Amended to 25 mph over the limit. Pled guilty. State traffic school. $143 court costs.

Ramona R. Mattingly. Charge #1, rear license not illuminated. Dismissed. Charge #2, operating on suspended/revoked operator’s license. Amended to no license in possession. Pled guilty. $20 fine plus $143 court costs. Charge #3, failure to surrender revoked operator’s license. Dismissed.

Angel Rodriguez. Sentencing hearing 8/31/08 charges. 30-day suspension of operator’s license, enroll in ADEP, $738 fine and court costs.

Michael A. Slayton. Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, .08 with aggravator, first offense. Amended to DUI first offense with no aggravator. Pled guilty. 30-day suspension of operator’s license, enroll in ADEP, $738 fine and court costs.

Buddy Stanley. Speeding 22 mph over the limit. Amended to defective equipment. Pled guilty. $100 fine plus $143 court costs.

Maldonado Greiby Nahil Chavez. Charge #1, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, etc., .08, first offense. Pled guilty. 120-day suspension of operator’s license, enroll in ADEP, $738 fine and court costs. Charge #2, possess open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle. Pled guilty. $35 fine. Charge #3, no operator’s/moped license. Pled guilty. $50 fine.

Misdemeanor:

John Crider. Alcohol intoxication in a public place first and second offense. Pled guilty. $25 fine plus $153 court costs.

Ronald Earls. Theft by deception including cold checks under $300. Pled guilty. Sentencing to be 1/30/09.

Mark Gross. Two charge of endangering the welfare of a minor, merged into one charge. Pled guilty. Sentenced to 90 days conditionally discharged for two years.

Terri M. Gross. Possession of marijuana. Pled guilty. Sentenced to 60 days conditionally discharged for two years. $100 fine, $150 to SCDIF plus $153 court costs.

Terri M. Gross. Cultivation of marijuana less than five plants, first offense. Merged with possession charge.

Anthony D. Howard. Charge #1, possession of marijuana. Pled guilty. $100 fine, $150 to SCDIF plus $153 court costs. Charge #2, use/possess drug paraphernalia, first offense. Pled guilty. $50 fine. Charge #3, cultivation of marijuana, less than five plants, first offense. Pled guilty. Sentenced to 60 days conditionally discharged for two years.

Tandy Sauer. Two charge of endangering the welfare of a minor, merged into one charge. Pled guilty. Sentenced to 90 days conditionally discharged for two years.

Lisa Shouse. Parent/custodian send child to school, first and second offense. Pled guilty. $100 fine plus $148 court costs.

Felony:

Bobby J. Hurst, Jr. Criminal mischief 1st degree. Amended to misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief 3rd degree. Pled guilty. $153 court costs.

Korey C. Stiles. Criminal mischief 1st degree. Amended to misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief 3rd degree. Pled guilty. $153 court costs.

Brian K. Waldridge. Criminal mischief 1st degree. Amended to misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief 3rd degree. Pled guilty. $153 court costs.

Eric T. Aubrey. Charge #1, manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense. Charge #2, 1st degree possession of a controlled substance PCP, first offense. Probable cause found. Referred to grand jury.

Terry Curtsinger. Receiving stolen property over $300. Probable cause found. Referred to grand jury.

Samuel R. Moore. Charge #1, manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense. Charge #2, possess controlled substance, first offense. Probable cause found. Referred to grand jury.

Erik B. Sawka. Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, .08, fourth or sub offense. Probable cause found. Referred to grand jury.
