The following cases were heard in Spencer District Court on Aug. 17, 2012, by Judge Donna Dutton:

Traffic:
Ryan P. Burress (1990), no/expired Kentucky registration receipt, guilty, $20 fine, $163 court costs.

Danielle N. Newton (1977), speeding 20 miles over the legal limit, guilty, $40 fine and court costs.

John R. Settles (1993), disregarding stop sign, guilty, $20 fine, court costs.

Michael S. Summitt (1983), speeding 10 miles over the legal limit, guilty, state traffic school, $143 fine.

Norris Domingue III (1980), operating a boat/watercraft while under the influence of alcohol first offense, guilty, $200 fine and court costs.

Anthony M. Eskridge (1992), speeding 19 miles over the legal limit, guilty, state traffic school, $143 court costs.

Andrew R. Gould (1968), speeding 26 miles over or greater, amended to speeding 25 miles over the legal limit, guilty, $60 fine and court costs.

David A. Long II (1974), operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, guilty, 30 days to be served concurrently.

Ashley N. Nash (1991), operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, amended to no license in possession, guilty, $20 fine and court costs.

Ashley M. Silliman (1984), careless driving, guilty, state traffic school, $143 court costs.


Donald R. Stodghill Jr. (1962), failure to wear seat belts, $25 fine and court costs; failure to produce insurance card, amended to failure to maintain required insurance, guilty, $500 fine, $400 conditionally discharged.

Garnette D. Torres (1973), speeding 25 miles over the legal limit, guilty, state traffic school, $143 court costs.

Andrea L. Vellender (1972), operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs aggravator second offense, guilty, $878 fine and court costs, 12 months suspended operator’s license, 14 days credit for time served, ½ home incarceration program, multiple offender program.

Charles A. Wakefield (1956), speeding 15 miles over the legal limit, guilty, $30 fine and court costs.

Joseph L. Wright (1985), speeding 14 miles over the legal limit, guilty; failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security first, guilty, $500 fine and court costs.

Misdemeanor:
Hubert Cornett (1985), flagrant non support, amended to non support, guilty, 365 days conditionally discharged for two years, must pay child support, $153 court costs.

David M. Richardson (1963), non approved/insufficient number/no personal float, guilty, $20 fine and court costs.

Carolyn S. Barnett (1978), possession of marijuana, guilty, $253 in fines and court costs plus $150 to the drug intervention fund.

Joseph Austin Helton (1992), resident fishing without a license/permit, guilty, $50 fine and court costs. 


Dallas Jewell (1980), illegal taking/pursue deer/wild turkey, guilty, $153 court costs, pay $450 to the Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Charles W. Jones (1949), operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs first offense, guilty, $728 in fines and court costs, 30 days suspended operator’s license, Alcohol and Drug Education Program.

Patricia A. Ratterman (1956), operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs first offense, guilty, $728 in fines and court costs, 30 days suspended operator’s license, Alcohol and Drug Education Program.

Larry T. Rose (1970), driving on a DUI suspended license first offense, guilty, 30 days conditionally discharged for two years and court costs.

Nicole R. Sherrard (1981), operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs aggravator first offense, guilty, $728 fines and court costs, four days jail time, 30 days suspended operator’s license, Alcohol and Drug Education Program.

Joshua W. Sweat (1990), operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, amended to no license in possession, guilty, $20 fine and court costs.

Michael A. Mark T. Senninger (1960), operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs aggravator first offense, guilty, $728 fines and court costs, Alcohol and Drug Education Program, 30 days suspended operator’s license, 8 days home incarceration program with work release.

Misdemeanor:
Willard R. Wentworth (1979), theft by deception to include cold checks under $500, guilty, 30 days jail to be served concurrently, restitution of $171.32 to be paid.
