A Spencer County Grand Jury heard the following cases, and charges, in indictments filed Sept. 22, that:

On or about May 1, Eric T. Aubrey, 32, 400 block of East River Road, and Amanda M. Hanson, 31, 400 block of East River Road:
•Count 1 – committed the offense of illegal possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully having in their possession an amount of a controlled substance classified as a Schedule II controlled substance known as methamphetamine.
•Count 2 – committed the offense of illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia when they knowingly and unlawfully used or had in their possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia to include straws, a glass tube and a syringe.

A Spencer County Grand Jury heard the following cases, and charges, in indictments filed Oct. 6, that:

On or about May 9, Timothy L. Curtsinger, 26, Cox’s Creek, and Jamie C. Richardson, 37, Mount Eden:
•Count 1 – alone or in complicity with another, committed the offense of illegal possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully having in their possession an amount of a controlled substance classified as a Schedule II controlled substance known as methamphetamine.
•Count 2 – alone or in complicity with another, committed the offense of illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia when they knowingly and unlawfully used or had in their possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia to include a pipe and a digital scale.

On or about May 8, the above named defendants:
•Count 3 – alone or in complicity with another, committed the offense of theft by unlawful taking by taking or exercising control of property belonging to the estate of Mary Lee Wimsatt with intent to deprive the owners thereof.
•Count 4 – alone or in complicity with another, committed the offense of criminal trespass in the second degree by knowingly and unlawfully entering or remaining in a building or upon premises, which are fenced or otherwise enclosed, at 1955 Beech Creek Road.
