Judge Charles W. Kuster Jr. heard the following cases in Spencer District Court Oct. 11, 2013:

Traffic:
Preston D. Durfey (1993), speeding 10 miles over the legal limit, guilty, $20 fine and court costs paid.

Rachel F. Aughton (1991), speeding 26 miles over the limit or greater, guilty, $60 fine and court costs paid.

John D. Davania (1969), speeding 26 miles over the legal limit or greater, guilty, $60 fine and court costs to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Eric S. Hall (1977), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs first offense, guilty, $210 fine, $518 costs, Alcohol and Drug Education Program, 30 days suspended operator’s license.

Kate K. Eva Larken (1955), operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, amended to no license in possession, guilty, $20 fine and court costs.

Namon E. Milburn (1958), speeding 21 miles over the legal limit, guilty, $40 fine and court costs; operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, guilty, $50 fine.

Geoffrey Rogers (1990), operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, guilty, $50 fine and court costs.

Amanda Haiby (1982), operating on a suspened/revoked operator’s license, amended to license to be in possession, guilty, $20 fine and court costs; failure to wear seat belts, guilty, $25 fine.

Jace A. Parker (1987), speeding 15 miles over the legal limit, guilty, state traffic school and court costs.

Misdemeanor:
Nicholas Brett Carter (1991), criminal littering, guilty, $50 fine and court costs.

McCauley Caudill (1991), resident fishing without a license/permit, guilty, $50 fine and court costs to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Michael J. Cornett (1988), fourth-degree assault domestic violence minor injury, guilty, sentenced to 180 days conditionally discharged for two years with the conditions of no unlawful contact and no further offenses, to pay court costs.

Christopher R. Sanders (1987), flagrant non support, amended to non support, guilty, sentenced to 365 days conditionally discharged for two years with no further offenses, court costs.

Christopher J. Sharp (1992), fourth-degree assault domestic violence minor injury, guilty, sentenced to 180 days conditionally discharged for two years, court costs.

Shawn Wright (1971), third-degree terroristic threatening, amended to second-degree disorderly conduct, guilty, sentenced to 90 days conditionally discharged for two years with the conditions of no contact with the victim and no further offenses, court costs; violation of a local county ordinance, guilty, $100 donation to the Spencer County Fiscal Court for the dog shelter.
