Judge Linda S. Armstrong heard the following cases in Spencer District Court on Sept. 13, 2013:

Traffic:
William J. Gilkey (1983), no/expired other state registration receipt or plate, guilty, $20 fine, $143 court costs; speeding 17 miles over the legal limit, guilty, state traffic school; no motorcycle operator’s license, guilty, $20 fine; improper equipment, guilty, $20 fine. All fines/fees to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Jefrey T. Lindsey (1979), speeding 15 miles over the legal limit, guilty, state traffic school and $143 court costs to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Robert A. Domek (1957), no/expired registration plates, guilty, $20 fine and $143 court costs to be paid in installments/deferred payment; failure to produce insurance card, amended to no insurance first, guilty, $500 fine, $400 conditionally discharged. All fines/fees to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Donald R. Luttrell (1978), failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security first, guilty, $500 fine, $400 conditionally discharged; operating on a suspended/revoked operator's license, amended to no license in possession, guilty, $20 fine and $143 court costs. All fines/fees to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

James Aleska (1970), operating on a suspended/revoked operator's license, amended to no license in possession, guilty, $20 fine and $143 court costs paid.

Brittany L. Byrd (1993), operating vehicle with expired operator's license, amended to no license in possesion, guilty, $20 fine and $143 court costs; failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance first, amended to failure of owner/operator to maintain required insurance, guilty, $500 fine, $400 conditionally discharged. All fines/fees to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Christopher J. Casper (1990), speeding 26 miles over or greater, guilty, $60 fine and $143 court costs to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Erica A. Doty (1991), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs second offense, guilty, sentenced to seven days, alcohol and drug education program, 12 months suspended operator's license, $878 fine to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Domonic S. Helm (1977), no/expired registration plates, guilty, $20 fine and $143 court costs; failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security first, guilty, $500 fine, $400 condtiionally discharged. All fines/fees to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Richard W. Langhammer (1967), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs first offense, amended to first offense aggravator, guilty, sentenced to four days and eight days home incarceration, 30 days suspended operator's license, alcohol and drug education program, $728 fine to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Roger E. Lewis (1982), failure to wear seat belts, guilty, $25 fine to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Thomas E. Maier (1960), driving on a DUI suspended license first offense aggravator, guilty, setnenced to 30 days conditionally discharged for two years; operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs second offense, amended to DUI first, guilty, $728 fine to be paid in installments/deferred payment; alcohol and drug education program, 30 days suspended operator's license.

Robert L. Phillips (1970), violation part 392 federal safety regulation, driving of motor vehicle, amended to defective equipment, guilty, $20 fine and $143 court costs to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Michael L. Smith (1964), failure to wear seat belts, guilty, $25 fine; no/expired registration plates, guilty, $20 fine and $153 court costs; failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security first, guilty, $500 fine; failure to register transfer of motor vehicle, guilty, $20 fine; possession of an open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle, guilty, $35 fine; buy/possess drug paraphernalia, guilty, $50 fine. All fines/fees to be paid in installments/deferred payment.
