The following cases were heard in Spencer District Court on Sept. 21, 2012, by Judge Linda Armstrong:

Traffic:

Heather D. Bogard (1994), speeding 15 miles over the legal limit, guilty, state traffic school, $143 court costs paid.

Kaden G. Smith (1992), speeding 16 miles over the legal limit, guilty, $175 fine to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Bo T. Brady (1989), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs first offense, guilty, $728 fine and costs, alcohol and drug education program, 120 days suspended operator’s license.

Garry A. Campbell (1951), failure to produce insurance card, amended to owner no insurance first, guilty, $500 fine, $400 conditionally discharged, to be paid over 12 months in installments; improper passing, guilty, $20 fine, costs waived due to indigence.

Joseph G. Chesser (1982), driving on a DUI suspended license, second offense, guilty, sentenced to 30 days, conditionally discharged for two years, $143 court costs to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Mark T. Cranmer (1967), driving on a DUI suspended license first offense, amended to operating on a suspended license, guilty, $50 fine and $143 court costs, to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Jason J. Curtsinger (no birth year provided), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, first offense, guilty, sentencing to follow.

Roy K. Curtsinger (1939), failure to wear seat belts, guilty, $25 fine; failure to or improper signal, guilty, state traffic school, $143 fine; fines and fees to be paid in installments/deferred payment.

Charles C. Ellis (1985), failure to wear seat belts, guilty, $25 fine; failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security first, guilty, $500 fine and $143 court costs, paid.
Misdemeanor:

Allen E. Hubbard (1976), drinking an alcoholic beverage in a public place first and second offense, guilty, $68.50 fines and court costs, to be paid in installments/deferred payment.
