Grand Jury Indictments

The following cases were handed down by a Spencer County Grand Jury:

Joshua Hardin, 2550 Little Union Road, Taylorsville, was indicted May 5 on one felony count of planting, cultivating or harvesting marijuana with intent to sell or transfer by knowingly and unlawfully planting, cultivating or harvesting five plants or more of a controlled substance known as marijuana, a schedule 1 hallucinogen, with the intent to sell or transfer marijuana.

Johnny A. Norton, 140 Woodlawn, Bloomfield, was indicted May 5 on one felony count of planting, cultivating or harvesting marijuana with intent to sell or transfer by knowingly and unlawfully planting, cultivating or harvesting five plants or more of a controlled substance known as marijuana, a schedule 1 hallucinogen, with the intent to sell or transfer marijuana. Norton was also indicted on one misdemeanor count of illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia when he knowingly and unlawfully used or had  in his possession with the intent to use  drug paraphernalia to include grow lights and ballast.

The following property transfers were collected in May 2011:

Theodore G. Fister, aka Ted G. Fister, of Bloomfield, to Louis D. Apel and Chris D. Apel, of Louisville, 49.71 acres in Spencer County known as the boundary division plat for Ted Fister, as described in deed book 237 page 640, $70,000.
