Public Record: Grand jury indictments - Dec. 6

The following indictments were handed down by a Spencer County Grand Jury on Dec. 6, 2012:

Count 1: On or about Aug. 16, 2012, in Spencer County, William R. Goodwin, 33, of the 3700 block of Kings Church Road, Taylorsville, committed the offense of operating a motor vehicle while his license was revoked or suspended for driving under the influence, third or subsequent offense, by operating a motor vehicle for at least a third time within a five-year period while his license was revoked or suspended for a violation of KRS 189A.010.

Count 2: On or about Aug. 16, 2012, in Spencer County, Goodwin committed the offense of failure of owner to maintain required insurance when, being the owner of a motor vehicle operated or registered in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, he failed to provide with respect to said motor vehicle, by contract of insurance or by self-insurer, security of the payment of basic reparation benefits arising from maintenance or use of said motor vehicle.

Count 3: On or about Aug. 16, 2012, in Spencer County, Goodwin committed the offense of operating a motor vehicle without rear lights when he operated a motor vehicle upon the roadways of Kentucky without rear lights in accordance to KRS 189.050 (1).

Count 1: On or about May 1, 2012, in Spencer County, Gina A. Waldridge, 47, of Floyd Street, Taylorsville, committed the offense of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance by knowingly and unlawfully manufacturing, distributing, dispensing, selling, transferring or possessing with intent to manufacture, distribute, dispense or sell a controlled substance classified as a schedule II controlled substance known as methamphetamine.

Counts 1-2: On or about Aug. 6, 2012, in Spencer County, Dana N. Ingram, 41, of the 200 block of Evelyn Drive, committed the offense of criminal possession of a forged prescription by knowingly possessing or uttering a forged prescription for a controlled substance with the intent to defraud, deceive or injure another.

Count 1: On or about May 28, 2012, in Spencer County, Joshua M. Crowe, 22, of the 200 block of Sugarberry Lane, Taylorsville, being 21 years old or more, committed third degree rape by engaging in sexual intercourse with a person less than 16 years old.

Count 1: On or about Sept. 20, 2012, in Spencer County, James C. Karner, also known as Chester Karner, 30, of the 300 block of Locust Drive, Taylorsville, and Courtney D. Glass, 23, also of the 300 block of Locust Drive, Taylorsville, acting alone or in complicity with another, committed the offense of theft of a motor vehicle renewal decal by taking a motor vehicle renewal decal that had been stolen from J. Burns.

Count 1: On or about Aug. 1, 2012, in Spencer County, Kenneth W. Baumgardner, 52, of Binkley Lane, Bloomfield, and Amanda R. Baumgardner, 46, also of Binkley Lane, Bloomfield, committed the offense of planting, cultivating or harvesting marijuana with intent to sell or transfer by knowingly and unlawfully planting, cultivating or harvesting five or more plants of a controlled substance known as marijuana, a schedule I hallucinogen, with the intent to sell or transfer marijuana and at the time of the commission of the offense and in furtherance of the offense, the defendants were in possession of a firearm.

Count 2: On or about Aug. 1, 2012, in Spencer County, Kenneth W. Baumgardner and Amanda R. Baumgardner, acting alone or in complicity with another, committed the offense of first-degree illegal possession of a controlled substance by knowingly and unlawfully having in their possession an amount of a controlled substance classified as a schedule II controlled substance known as morphine, the defendants were in possession of a firearm.

Count 3: On or about Aug. 1, 2012, in Spencer County, Kenneth W. Baumgardner and Amanda R. Baumgardner, acting alone or in complicity with another, committed the offense of illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia when they knowingly and unlawfully used or had in their possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia to include rolling papers, the defendants were in possession of a firearm.
