The following indictments were handed down May 24, 2012, by a Spencer County Grand Jury:

Count 1: On or about Feb. 20, 2012, in Spencer County, Timothy R. Richardson, of the 100 block of Magnolia Drive, Bardstown, committed the offense of tampering with physical evidence when, believing that an official proceeding may be pending or instituted against him, he destroyed, mutilated, concealed, removed or altered the physical evidence which he believed was about to be produced or used in such official proceeding, with the intent to impair its verity or availability in the official proceeding.

Count 2: On or about Feb. 20, 2012, in Spencer County, Timothy R. Richardson, 100 block of Magnolia Drive, Bardstown, committed the offense of third-degree criminal mischief when having no right to do so, or any reasonable ground to believe that he had such a right, intentionally or wantonly defaced, destroyed, or damaged a camera, which belonged to the Spencer County Sheriff’s Office.

County 3: On or about Feb. 20, 2012, in Spencer County, Timothy R. Richardson, 100 blook of Magnolia Drive, Bardstown, committed the offense of third-degree criminal trespassing by knowingly and unlawfully entering or remaining upon premises at 1353 Plum Creek Road in Taylorsville.

Count 1: On or about Nov. 16, 2011, in Spencer County, Scottie W. King, 100 block of Baker Court, Mount Eden, committed the offense of trafficking in marijuana by knowingly and unlawfully manufacturing, distributing, dispensing, selling, transferring, or possessing with intent to manufacture, distribute, dispense or sell an amount of more than five pounds of marijuana, a schedule I hallucinogen nogen.

Count 2: On or about Nov. 16, 2011, in Spencer County, Scottie W. King, 100 block of Baker Court, Mount Eden, committed the offense of criminal possession of a prescription blank when, with knowledge that he has no lawful authority to possess a prescription blank, he possessed a prescription blank with the intent to utter a forged prescription or sell or transfer the prescription blank to another person for that purpose.

Count 3: On or about Nov. 16, 2011, in Spencer County, Scottie W. King, 100 block of Baker Court, Mount Eden, committed the offense of illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia when he knowingly and unlawfully used or had in his possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia to include rolling papers, digital scales and grow lights.

Count 4: On or about Nov. 16, 2011, in Spencer County, Scottie W. King, 100 block of Baker Court, Mount Eden, committed the offense of illegal possession of a controlled substance by knowingly and unlawfully having in his possession an mount of a controlled substance classified as a schedule I hallucinogen known as marijuana.

Count 1: On or about March 30, 2011, in Spencer County, Alfred Wayne Anzalone, 1600 block of Elk Creek Road, Taylorsville, committed the offense of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance greater than 10 units, by knowingly and unlawfully manufacturing, distributing, dispensing, selling, transferring or possessing with intent to manufacture, distribute, dispense or see greater than 10 dosage units of a controlled substance classified as a schedule II controlled substance known as Oxymorphone.

Count 2: On or about April 15, 2011, in Spencer County, Alfred Wayne Anzalone, 1600 block of Elk Creek Road, Taylorsville, committed the offense of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance greater than 10 units, by knowingly and unlawfully manufacturing, distributing, dispensing, selling, transferring or possessing with intent to manufacture, distribute, dispense or sell greater than 10 dosage units of a controlled substance classified as a schedule II controlled substance known as Dilaudid.

Steve A. Nation, of Little Union Road, Spencer County, who is currently charged under indictment  No. 11-CR-00036-004, pending in Spencer Circuit Court, with the offense of complicity to manufacture methamphetamine, and who is more than 21 years old, has previously be convicted for the following felonies and is charged as being a second-degree persistent felony offender as follows: On or about Oct. 12, 2010, in Spencer County, Nation appeared in Spencer Circuit Court, pursuant to Indictment No. 09-CR-00051, charging him with complicity to possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine precursor, tampering with physical evidence, all felonies in violation of the KRS and that said court convicted and sentence the defendant to five years in the Kentucky Department of Corrections; and that the defendant was 18 years old or older at the time he committed the prior offenses; and that the defendant is more than 21 years old; and that the defendant was on a form of legal release from at least one of the previous felony convictions on the date of the commission of the offense charged in indictment 11-CR-00036-004.

Count 1: On or about March 27, 2012, in Spencer County, James R. Seabolt, of the 8100 block of Florist Drive in Louisville, and Christina A. LaPointe, of the 4100 Seawade Court in Louisville, alone or in complicity with another, committed the offense of second-degree burglary by knowingly and unlawfully entering or remaining in a dwelling located at 305 Cochran Hill Road, with intent to commit a crime.

Count 2: On or about March 27, 2012, in Spencer County, Christina A. LaPointe, of the 4100 Seawade Court in Louisville, committed the offense of second-degree illegal possession of a controlled substance by knowingly and unlawfully having in her possession an amount of a controlled substance classified as a schedule III controlled substance known as hydrocodone.

Count 3: Further, that the defendant, James R. Seabolt, of the 8100 block of Florist Drive in Louisville, has previously been convicted of the following felonies and is now charged as being a first-degree persistent felony offender as follows: On or about Sept. 12, 2008, in Jefferson County, the above named defendant appeared in the Jefferson Circuit Court, a court of general criminal jurisdiction, pursuant to indictment No. 08-CR-000123, charging him with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance — cocaine, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and possession of a defaced firearm, all felonies in violation of the Kentucky Revised Statutes and that said court sentenced the defendant to a term of 10 years in the Kentucky Department of Corrections; and that previously, on or about Feb. 6, 2003, in Spencer County, the above named defendant appeared in the Spencer Circuit Court, a court of general criminal jurisdiction, pursuant to indictment No. 02-CR-00022, charging him with second-degree burglary and theft by unlawful taking, all felonies in violation of the Kentucky Revised Statutes and that said court sentenced the defendant to a term of eight years in the Kentucky Department of Corrections; and that the defendant was 18 years or older at the time he committed the prior offenses; and that the defendant is currently 21 years of age or older; and that the defendant was on a form of legal release from at least one of the previous felony convictions on the date of the commission of the offenses charged in this indictment.

The following indictments were handed down on June 7, 2012, by a Spencer County Grand Jury:

Count 1: Between Jan. 1, 2007, and May 31, 2012, in Spencer County, Earl Lee Curtsinger, of the 300 block of Barricks Road, Louisville, committed the offense of flagrant non-support when he persistently failed to provide support which he could reasonably provide and which he had knowledge of the duty to provide by virtue of a Spencer District Court order pertaining to his minor children, thereby accruing an arrearage of not less than $1,000 and/or failing to make payments for at least six consecutive months.

Count 1: On or about April 10, 2012, in Spencer County, Andrea E. Patton, of the 400 block of Washington Street, Taylorsville, Hope Patton, of the 100 block of Crume Court, Taylorsville, and James B. Hardin, of the 100 block of Crume Court, alone or in complicity with another, committed the offense of first-degree illegal possession of a controlled substance by knowingly and unlawfully having in their possession an amount of a controlled substance classified as a schedule I controlled substance known as heroin.

Count 2: On or about April 10, 2012, in Spencer County, Andrea E. Patton, of the 400 block of Washington Street, Taylorsville, Hope Patton, of the 100 block of Crume Court, Taylorsville, and James B. Hardin, of the 100 block of Crume Court, alone or in complicity with another, committed the offense of tampering with physical evidence when, believing that an official proceeding may be pending or instituted against them, they destroyed, mutilated, concealed, removed or altered the physical evidence which they believed was about to be produced or used in such official proceeding, with the intent to impair its verity or availability in the official proceeding.

Count 3: On or about April 10, 2012, in Spencer County, Andrea E. Patton, of the 400 block of Washington Street, Taylorsville, committed the offense of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants first offense by operating under the influence of alcohol; or under the influence of any substance or combination of substances which impairs one’s driving ability; or under the combined influence of alcohol and any other substances which impairs one’s driving ability.

Count 4: On or about April 10, 2012, in Spencer County, Andrea A. Patton, of the 400 block of Washington Street, Taylorsville, committed the offense of failure of owner to maintain required insurance when, being the owner of a motor vehicle operated or registered in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, he failed to provide with respect to said motor vehicle, by contract of insurance or by self-insurer, security of the payment of basic reparation benefits arising from maintenance or use of said motor vehicle.

Count 5: On or about April 10, 2012, in Spencer County, Andrea E. Patton, of the 400 block of Washington Street, Taylorsville, committed the offense of reckless driving by unlawfully operating a motor vehicle in a reckless manner without regard for the safety and convenience of pedestrians and other vehicles on the highway, or by willfully operating a motor vehicle so as to injure the highway.
