The following indictments were handed down by a Spencer County Grand Jury on Feb. 7, 2013:

Count 1: On or about Jan. 29, 2012, in Spencer County, Gary L. McGaughey, 55, of the 1700 block of Hickory Ridge Road, committed the offense of first-degree failure to comply with sex offender registry as a sex offender when he knowingly and unlawfully failed to verify his change of address.

Count 1: On or about Sept. 3, 2012, in Spencer County, Larry T. Rose Jr., 43, of the 8400 block of Bloomfield Road, committed the offense of operating a motor vehicle while his license was revoked or suspended for driving under the influence - third or subsequent offense, by operating a motor vehicle for at least a third time within a five year period while his license is revoked or suspended for a violation of KRS 189A.010.

Count 2: On or about Sept. 3, 2012, in Spencer County, Rose committed the offense of first-degree fleeing or evading police when, while operating a motor vehicle with the intent to flee or evade, he knowingly and/or wantonly disobeyed a direction to stop his motor vehicle given by a peace officer and 1) he was driving on a suspended license or 2) by fleeing or evading, he caused or created a substantial risk of serious physical injury or death to any person or property.

Count 3: No true bill

Count 4: On or about Sept. 3, 2012, in Spencer County, Rose committed the offense of third-degree criminal trespass by knowingly and unlawfully entering or remaining upon premises on Highview Church Road in Bloomfield, Ky.

The following indictments were handed down by a Spencer County Grand Jury Feb. 21, 2013:

Count 1: On or between Nov. 1, 2011, and Jan. 31, 2013, Jason A. Pursell, 34, of the 5700 block of Loretta Street, Louisville, committed the offense of flagrant non-support when he persistently failed to provide support which he could reasonably provide and which he had knowledge of the duty to provide by virtue of a Spencer Circuit Court order pertaining to his minor child, thereby accruing an arrearage of not less than $1,000 and/or failing to make payments for at least six consecutive months.

Count 1: On or about Feb. 2, 2013, in Spencer County, Stacy J. Pawlack, 19, of the 100 block of Ray Road, committed the offense of third-degree assault when she intentionally caused or attempted to cause physical injury to Trooper M. Rogers, a state, county, city or federal peace officer.

Count 2: On or about Feb. 2, 2013, in Spencer County, Pawlack committed the offense of resisting arrest when she intentionally prevented or attempted to prevent a peace officer from effecting her arrest by a) using or threatening to use physical force or violence against the peace officer or another or b) using any other means creating substantial risk of causing physical injury to the peace officer by another.

Count 3: On or about Feb. 2, 2013, in Spencer County, Pawlack committed the offense of menacing when she intentionally placed Trooper M. Rogers in reasonable apprehension of imminent physical injury.

Count 4: On or about Feb. 2, 2013, in Spencer County, Pawlack committed the offense of second-degree disorderly conduct when, in a public place and with intent to cause public inconvenience, annoyance or alarm, she wantonly created a risk thereof by a) engaging in fighting in or violent, tumultuous or threatening behavior or b) creating a hazardous or physically offensive condition by acts which served no legitimate purpose.
