Public Record: September indictments

A Spencer County Grand Jury handed down the following indictment on Sept. 12, 2013, in Spencer Circuit Court:

Count 1: On or about June 2, 2013, in Spencer County, Terry Curtsinger, 29, of the 100 block of Mill Street in Taylorsville, committed the offense of assault in the third degree when he intentionally caused or attempted to cause physical injury to Officer Daniel Wills, a Taylorsville city peace officer.

Count 2: On or about June 2, 2013, Curtsinger committed the offense of resisting arrest when he intentionally prevented or attempted to prevent a peace officer from effecting his arrest by (a) using or threatening to use physical force or violence against the peace officer or another; or (b) using any other means creating substantial risk of causing physical injury to the peace officer or another.

Count 3: On or about June 2, 2013, Curtsinger committed the offense of menacing when he intentionally placed Officer Daniel Wills in reasonable apprehension of imminent physical injury.

A Spencer County Grand Jury handed down the following indictments on Sept. 26, 2013, in Spencer Circuit Court:

Count 1: On or about May 17, 2013, David E. Moore Jr., 29, of Locust Drive in Taylorsville, committed the offense of second-degree burglary by knowingly and unlawfully entering or remaining in a dwelling located in the 900 block of Dogwood Circle with intent to commit a crime.

Count 2: On or about May 17, 2013, Moore committed the offense of fourth-degree assault when he intentionally or wantonly caused physical injury to another.

Count 3: On or about May 17, 2013, Moore committed the offense of fourth-degree assault when he intentionally or wantonly caused physical injury to another.

Count 4: On or about May 17, 2013, Moore committed the offense of second-degree criminal mischief when having no right to do so, or any reasonable ground to believe that he had such right, he intentionally or wantonly defaced, destroyed or damaged a glass door causing pecuniary loss of $500 or more.

Count 5: On or about May 17, 2013, Moore committed the offense of violation of a protective order by intentionally violating the provisions of an order issued pursuant to KRS 403.715 to 403.785 with which he had been served or had been given notice, when he violated a domestic violence order issued on April 15, 2013, by the Spencer Circuit Court, Family Division.

Count 1: On or about Aug. 5, 2013, Gregory Wayne Coulter, 45, of the 200 block of West Main Street, committed the offense of first-degree criminal mischief when having no right to do so, or any reasonable ground to believe that he had such right, he intentionally or wantonly defaced, destroyed or damaged a motor vehicle causing a pecuniary loss of $1,000 or more.
