PUBLIC RECORDS: Grand jury indictments

Bradley Mills, of 110 McGee Avenue in Bardstown, was indicted by a Spencer County Grand Jury Sept. 9 on one felony count of theft by failure to make required disposition of property over $500.

On or about Oct. 1, 2009, Mills allegedly obtained property valued at $500 or more from Harold Whitworth, upon agreement or subject to a known legal obligation to make payment or disposition. Mills allegedly intentionally dealt with the property as his own and failed to make the required payment or disposition.

William R. Goodwin, of 3455 Highgrove Road in Cox’s Creek, was indicted by a Spencer County Grand Jury Sept. 9 on one felony count of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants, fourth offense; one felony count of operating a motor vehicle while license is revoked or suspended for driving under the influence, third or subsequent offense; and one second-degree misdemeanor count of fleeing or evading a police.

On or about April 18, 2010, Goodwin allegedly committed his fourth offense of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants. On the same day Goodwin also allegedly operated a motor vehicle while his license was revoked or suspended for driving under the influence. This was at least the third time in a five year period Goodwin was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a revoked or suspended license. Also on April 18, 2010, Goodwin allegedly intended to elude or flee when he knowingly or wantonly disobeyed a recognized direction given by a peace officer to stop his vehicle.
