Relay team plans yard sale for Saturday
The Spencer County Preschool Relay for Life team is hosting a yard sale Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the preschool, 110 Reasor Ave.
The sale will feature a little bit of everything and all proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.

First Assembly of God Relay for Life team plans
The First Assembly of God, Lifesavers, Relay for Life team is hosting a Mother-Daughter Lunch on Sunday at First Assembly of God at 1 p.m. The cost is $10 per person. Contact Sherrie Coulter for more information at 502-510-4796.
The team is also hosting a men’s softball tournament on May 18. For more information, contact Sabe Oliver at 502-507-4497. All proceeds benefit Spencer County Relay for Life.

5K to benefit Relay for Life
The Brady Bunch Relay for Life team is hosting the “Light the Way 5K” on Saturday, June 1, beginning at 8 a.m. at Taylorsville Lake State Park.
The cost is $25 for participants who pre-register by May 18.
The cost is $30 to register on the day of the race, with registration beginning at 7 a.m.
Checks should be made payable to RFL Brady Bunch.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three males and females in each age group. There will be door prizes and refreshments after the race.
All donations go to the American Cancer Society.

Relay team to host fitness event May 18
The Relay for Life team Jems Hope and Friends will offer the community a chance to discover new fitness programs to enjoy to develop a consistent fitness regime to promote a healthy lifestyle during a “Start Getting Fit Today Challenge” event on May 18.
The event will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Spencer County High School gym and will offer an introduction to Zumba as well as an introduction to gymnastics for children.
A $10 donation per family is recommended. Donations collected will benefit Relay for Life.
