Taylorsville High Class of 1966 celebrates 45th reunion

The 1966 Class of Taylorsville High School gathered Aug. 5 to celebrate its 45-year class reunion at the Taylorsville Chamber of Commerce Community Center. Approximately 60 classmates and guests were in attendance. The graduates invited anyone that started from middle
school through high school.  Pictured from left to right are: Front row: Donna (Bowman) Keeling, Brenda (Schuler) Stone, Brenda (Mudd) McAllister, Sue (Duvall) Sutherland, Marie (Cook) Patton, Imogene (Martin) Armstrong, Patty (Robinson) Hardin and Bonnie (Nethery) Waldridge. Second Row: Rosemary (Gaddie) Smith, Cathleen (Whitehouse) King, Greg Hensley, Connie (Stout) Gusstafson, Peggy (Ware) Loafman, Wanda (Spurr) Henson, Bonnie (Love) Downs, Bobby Rogers, David Bishop and Otis Hall. Billy Hardesty, class member, and the “Medallions” , consisting of Billy Hardesty, Mike and Zach Driscoll, and Larry and Murrell Lawson, entertained with ‘60s era music. Billy Hardesty performed “ Peace in the Valley” in tribute to class members no longer with us. The Rev. Joe Stone led in prayer with a moment of silence in memory. “ Memories” was the theme of the night.  Coming from furthest away had to be Connie Stout Gusstafson, of Sweden; Vickie Wasson Kirkland, from Texas; and Larry Ruble, from Georgia.
