Robinson to sing with CU Concert Chorus

The Campbellsville University Concert Chorus will present part one of Mendelssohn’s “Elijah” on Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 8 p.m. in the sanctuary of Campbellsville Baptist Church, located at 530 North Central Avenue, Campbellsville.
Chelsey Robinson, a freshman from Taylorsville, will perform singing soprano with Campbellsville University’s Concert Chorus.
“Elijah” is a major oratorio by Mendelssohn that tells the story of the biblical character, Elijah, in various historical settings.
Dr. Wesley Roberts, professor of music, will accompany the 50-voice chorus.
The concert chorus is directed by Dr. David Hedrick, assistant professor of music in the CU School of Music. He is in his seventh year at CU where he teaches graduate and undergraduate voice, Concert Chorus and the CU Handbell Choir.
The program is free and open to the public.
