Five members of the Spencer County Middle School and Spencer County High School Cross Country teams were invited to run in the AAU National Cross Country meet this past weekend at Winthrop University in South Carolina.
The team has trained hard over the past few weeks, and represented Kentucky well against competition from all over the country, including teams from California, Wyoming, New York, Michigan, Texas and New Jersey.
Pictured are (back row) Coach Billy Talley, Travis O’Dell, Jacob Johnson, Cameron Curran; (front row) Tabitha Martin and Hunter Detrich. Track and Field training will start in the next few weeks.
