Some of our students from student council, thought that students from Spencer County Elementary School should know how important it is to take care of your body, so you don’t get sick and to help keep all your friends from getting sick also. So that you can have fun and still be healthy.

H1N1 is a really bad flu that can make you very sick, and if it is a really bad case it could kill you. People say swine flu but that is not the proper word for it as our school nurse said.

You can stay safe if you wash your hands before and after eating and after you cough or sneeze, and last but not least wash your hands after you go to the bathroom. Do not share food with anyone, try not to shake hands at all, or if you do wash your hands afterwards.

If you are feeling sick please stay home so you don’t get your friends sick. You might want to talk to your parents or doctor about getting a flu shot vaccination. Remember-be-safe.
