The SCHS Dance Team won First in Varsity Hip Hop this weekend at the HalloJam competition. The team also scored the highest score over all winning the title of Grand Champion. Teams from the Tri-State area attend the event each year. This was the first time the team competed with their new Hip Hop routine. They received an elite score of 9.113 and earned a Gold bid to the the U.S. finals.
The team will compete on Nov. 8, at Floyd Central at a UDA event. The team will compete at UDA Nationals in Orlando Florida in February.
