Taylor Carden was named Commonwealth Ambassador by Secretary of State Trey Grayson.  Carden was selected for outstanding leadership and commitment to community service. Taylor is a Hugh O’Brian Youth Leader (HOBY) and has been invited to serve as a People to People ambassador. The invitation would allow Carden to explore the iconic European capitals of London and Paris with 40 other outstanding students. The ambassadors will experience new cultures firsthand, interact with former members of British Parliament and a professor at Paris’s renowned Sorbonne University.

Taylor’s belief in community service has led her to work with Habitat for Humanity, create and paint murals for inner cities and here at home she works with younger students to share her passion for the arts. Taylor is currently directing the middle school play “Arsenic and Old Lace.”
