Sheriff’s department to conduct safety checkpoints

The Spencer County Sheriff’s office will conduct periodic traffic safety checkpoints beginning May 23 and continuing through June 5, according to a news release.
The locations will be those approved by the Spencer County Sheriff’s Office Policy and Procedures Manual, the news release said.
There will also be special traffic enforcement in high collision areas using radar, laser and saturation patrols, the release said.
