While most teens were sleeping in, hanging out with friends, or going to the movies; 27 members of the Spencer County FFA were doing something a little different. They loaded a bus on July 13 and they headed to Hardinsburg to the Ky FFA Leadership Training Center.  Along with three hundred and twenty-two other members  from twenty-two different chapters, they  participated in various leadership, team building classes, and recreational activities. .

The week was kick started by the 2009-10 Spencer County FFA officer team presiding over the opening evening session. Madison Shanks, chapter vice-president was selected as President of the camp council, while Allie McGaughey was our delegate.

Joseph Snider was winner of the camp quiz contest and will compete in the state finals July 24th.  Madison Shanks   received a camp leadership award.
