SCHS softball

It was a winning week for the Lady Bears Softball team, as they went 3-2 in a five game span, including a 16-0 home victory over Eminence on a blustery day that ended mercifully with a run limit.

The girls went on the road the next day, traveling to Shelby County where they dropped a 7-2 decision to the Lady Rockets.

On Friday, the Lady Bears traveled to Frankfort for a double-header, and split the pair, winning the first game 12-3, but dropping a close 3-2 decision in the second contest.

Their week ended on a high note as they hit the road to Bardstown and returned home with a 10-0 victory. The girls are 5-7 on the season.

The girls were scheduled to be back in action on Tuesday to host Anderson County, will travel to South Oldham on Wednesday and to Eminence on Thursday. They’ll then get a few days off before hosting Holy Cross on May 4.
