State police are reminding Kentucky drivers that it’s fall and that means the state’s deer population is very active. Motorists will see more deer crossing roadways. And deer hunting season begins Nov. 10 and that means motorists will see even more of the animals on or near highways.
Sgt. Rick Saint-Blancard, state police spokesman, said in a news release that motorists need to take extra precautions when driving during fall months.
