Sweet potato dumplings a church potluck favorite

Sweet potato dumplings have become a favorite dish at Adina Milburn’s home over the past few years. She was first introduced to it at a potluck dinner at her church, Highview Baptist Spencer Campus.

Angie Melton brought the dumplings and Milburn liked them so much that she asked for the recipe.

The sweet potato dumplings call for sweet potato patties, but sweet potatoes can be used.

“Angie originally told us to use sweet potato patties,” said Milburn. “It’s so much easier to use the patties.”
