Terry Dean Griffin, 60, of Mount Eden, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, at Norton Suburban Hospital in Louisville.
A graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture, he was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity. He was a member of Mount Eden Christian Church and owner of Eden Hill Restoration Company.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert S. Griffin; and his grandparents, A.J. and Ada Romine and John and Mable Griffin.
Survivors include his mother, Modena Griffin of Mount Eden; his sister, Kimberly McKnight and her husband, Jesse, of Danville, Calif., and he grew up with Jay Romine as a brother and Jennifer Romine of Mount Washington. He is also survived by his niece, Delilah Belle McKnight of Danville, Calif.; his nephews, Jesse Clay, Griffin Ford and Jonathan Levi Dean McKnight, all of Danville, Calif., and Shelby and A.J. Romine of Mount Washington; and his aunt, Arlene Romine of Mount Washington.
Services were Monday at Greenwell-Jenkins-Houghlin Funeral Home with Bro. Robert L. Johnson and Bro. Odis Clark officiating.
Burial was in Grove Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.
