Three injured Tuesday in Bloomfield Road wreck

Three people were injured in what appeared to be a head-on collision Tuesday afternoon on Bloomfield Road.

The identities of those in the crash are not yet available and a collision report from the Spencer County Sheriff's Department is yet to be completed as all parties involved in the wreck were transported to University of Louisville Hospital.
The wreck involved a champagne-colored GMC pickup and a white Ford Taurus. The driver and a passenger in the truck were transported via Spencer County EMS.
The driver of the Taurus, a female, was extricated and transported via helicopter.
The collision occurred in the 2800 block of Bloomfield Road shortly before 5 p.m.
The sheriff's department, EMS and the Taylorsville-Spencer County Fire Department responded to the scene.
