THS class of 1948 celebrates 65-year reunion

The Taylorsville High School Class of 1948 celebrated its 65-year reunion on June 22 at the Quality Inn East in Louisville. Fourteen members were able to attend of the 19 surviving members out of a graduating class of 35.

Innis Carr Leslie living in Hillsboro, Ore., Marie Crawford Overstreet living in Elizabethtown and Leonard Rogers in Taylorsville were unable to attend because of illness.
The meal was served and catered by Belita McDonald, owner of Derby City Chocolates, daughter of Marilyn Cubert Senn, who is a 1948 class member.
Sixteen spouses and friends of the class were present for their group photo.
