Trial likely in Divine case

After going back and forth with offers and counteroffers, a Spencer County man looks likely to face a jury trial on charges of first-degree sexual abuse, first-degree sodomy and incest.
Robert Anthony Divine, 33, appeared in Spencer Circuit Court on Thursday with his attorney Stephen Wright.
Wright told Judge Charles Hickman that his client hadn’t been able to reach an agreement with Commonwealth’s Attorney Laura Witt Donnell, but asked for the two sides to meet one more time before a trial date is set.
