Troopers bust marijuana indoor grow with 76 plants

Two Spencer Countians face multiple drug-related charges after Kentucky State Police located 76 marijuana plants growing in a residence on Binkley Lane.

KSP Post 12 received information regarding a possible marijuana indoor grow at the residence, which is located near the Nelson County line, and upon investigating, charged Kenneth Baumgardner, 52, and Amanda Baumgardner, 48, according to a news release.
Both face charges of cultivating marijuana over five plants, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, trafficking in marijuana and possession of a controlled substance (pills), according to the release.
Both have been cited to Spencer County District Court, and the investigation will be presented to a Spencer County grand jury, the news release said.
