The former Spencer County Middle School teacher and coach accused of breaking into the home of his ex-girlfriend and holding her against her will appeared in Spencer District Court on Friday.
Todd Andrew Bonds, 36, of the 200 block of East Main Street in Taylorsville, appeared before Special Judge Matthew Eckert, and was scheduled for a preliminary hearing.
However, Bonds waived his right to a hearing Friday and another preliminary hearing was scheduled for Feb. 22 at 10:30 a.m.
Bonds is charged with first-degree burglary and unlawful imprisonment.
