So far two Taylorsville men have thrown their hats in the race for city commission, but, as of Tuesday afternoon, no one has filed for any of the three available school board seats or four available positions with the Soil and Water Conservation District.
Interested parties have until 4 p.m. next Tuesday to file their intent to run.
Richard Johns of Main Street and Jack Proctor of Reasor Avenue are each seeking one of the four seats on the Taylorsville City Commission.
