Sen. Paul Hornback speaks to those attending Thursday’s Spencer County Chamber of Commerce Meeting. Hornback provided an update on the recently completed regular session of the General Assembly and expressed his hopes to conclude the special session that started Monday in a timely fashion. The regular session concluded 12 days early, saving the state nearly $800,000, Hornback said. Gov. Steve Beshear called the special session to discuss the Medicaid budget and dropout bill.
