‘Raw food group’ to host first meeting
The Spencer County Extension Office is giving community members a chance to meet like-minded people that want to be healthy through learning about raw food. The raw food group will begin Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Attendees can learn, share raw food meals and discuss a plant-based diet and health issues. Attendees aren’t required to be on a 100 percent raw diet. Most members are “transitioning” toward a healthier, more environmentally conscious diet and are getting lots of support along the way.
