FROM THE WORD: The church will be judged

I was talking to a preacher not long ago about how God is going to judge the church. We, as church members, don’t like to be included in this judgement. Some of us may think we have been so good, we are about to grow wings.

I believe that if churches don’t come to true repentance, we are in danger of becoming like the Pharisees. We are in danger of taking on a form of religion that does not exercise the power of Jesus Christ. I think this is one question we have to ask ourselves: Who is our God?

In Matthew Chapter 19, we see a person with another God.
