About 50 teenagers attending the Assembly of God’s National Youth Convention in Louisville will be in Taylorsville next week to help with Operation City Cleanup.
City Commissioner Beverly Ingram said Monday that Chad Goodlett, pastor of the First Assembly of God Church in Taylorsville, was instrumental in getting 50 of the youth from the convention into the Taylorsville area next Wednesday, Aug. 8, and Friday, Aug. 10.
The group will be in town from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday.
