Logan and Adam Light exhibited their dairy goats during the North American International Livestock Show held in Louisville, Nov. 8-17. Overall they had an outstanding showing during the highly competitive classes by exhibiting in the top four in showmanship and the breed classes. The Light’s also showed at the Kentucky State Fair in August.

Citing a compelling vision for the future of the college and a national reputation for leadership, University of Kentucky Provost Christine Riordan Tuesday announced that Nancy Cox has accepted the position as dean of the UK College of Agriculture, Food and Environment.
The appointment is subject to approval by the UK Board of Trustees at its December meeting.
Claude L. Brock and Linda K. Brock were recently honored for 35 years of service to the Great Lakes Circuit Rodeo. The recognition took place in Louisville during the 40th North American International Livestock Exposition.
Linda Brock of Louisville received the Newell G. Hicks Vision Award at the 2013 North American International Livestock Exposition. The award is one of the highest honors that can be given to an individual by management of the North American International. Brock has been a keystone of promotional support at the expo.
